BIG Motors will check the manufacturer recommended services by date, time, and mileage for your vehicle. For vehicles with flexible service intervals we look up the data provided by your vehicle showing which services it calls for. 

Our pre-purchase inspection is one of the most thorough inspections that we offer. We have different levels of inspection available for you to choose from. These different levels give you the ability to choose how much time we spend checking over the vehicle. We use the requested amount of time to check over the vehicle to identify any issues both mechanically and cosmetically. Included in the Standard Pre-purchase Inspection are all items from the Courtesy Inspection and in addition we check for fault codes, the status of the onboard monitors (to see if faults have been recently cleared), a test drive of the vehicle, and identification of any body damage. The next level inspection is the Extended Pre-purchase inspection where we check all of the above and also the functionality of all of the accessories and systems on the vehicle. All knobs, levers, buttons on both interior and exterior are checked for correct operation. We are typically able to identify if there has been any paint work or body repairs. All Pre-purchase inspections also include any Carfax service history available on the vehicle. We also offer a third level of inspection which includes all of the above and additionally samples of all fluids, a cooling system pressure test, an extended test drive, and a compression test. Evacuate and recharge air conditioning system to correct Freon level ensuring the optimum performance of your AC system. Modern vehicle air conditioning systems are extremely sensitive to the amount of Freon in the system which can drastically affect the performance. Undercharged or overcharged ac systems will not perform as well as a system with the correct Freon level.

Remove existing coolant from radiator, engine, heater core, and hoses. Reattach hoses and vacuum down cooling system. We use a vacuum fill tool to ensure no air pockets are trapped in the cooling system. Then the vehicle is refilled under vacuum with the manufacturer recommended coolant.

This service involves draining the transmission fluid, removing the transmission pan (where applicable) and replacing the transmission fluid filter. A new pan gasket is installed (where applicable) along with new fluid. The transmission oil cooler is disconnected, flushed (where applicable), and the transmission ran and fluid level adjusted according to manufacturer's specifications. Only original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or better transmission fluid is used.
